Western's weyrbowl is filled with activity; from people moving across to different places in the Lower Caverns, to dragons landing and taking off. The bowl is the main traffic area of the weyr.
Located along the rim of the Weyrbowl, the rider's weyrs hold a living quarters for the riders and a den with a perch for the dragons. Weyrlings move into their own at 7 months of age.
Lower Caverns houses the storage room, living quarters for the weyrfolk, candidate barracks, and the kitchen and dining hall. Tunnels lead to every part of the weyr.
The large cave where the sands stay warm. Clutching females uses these sands to keep their eggs nice and warm. Once they are ready to hatch, the candidates are summoned and impress right on the sands.
The skies are a place where only dragons and their riders can reach. Above is where they fight thread and mating flights are held.
Lands outside of the protection of Western Weyr. These lands are used for dumping unwanted weyrling pairs as a proving ground. Enter at your own risk.
